CM Life
CM Life was the first student organization I joined when I got to Central Michigan University. My time here started as a videographer. I produced several short videos that mostly revolved around event coverage, with a few special videos in between.
The playlist for the videos I produced with CM Life are here.
I was promoted to assistant multimedia editor to help overlook CM Life's videos and podcasts during my sophomore year, but a few weeks later it evolved to the podcasts editor position that I hold now!

CSN Digital
CSN Digital is the official multimedia operation for Central Michigan University athletics and is an ESPN3 affiliate.
As a multimedia production staff member of CSN Digital, I was able to work across the board of sports broadcasting.
I worked camera for football, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, field hockey, and more. I have also helped set up and tear down pre-game/post-game shows and sat in on live production nights.

DTV News
DTV is where it all started for me. In a small space known as the newsroom, I found my love for multimedia and news by spending what seems like an infinite number of hours behind cameras, computers, and switch boards.
At Davison High School, DTV News is the local student-run news station. It's a creative outlet that produces news, documentaries, films, and comedy.
As executive producer, I was the head of Davison Television. I ran the community station and helped create the accompanying website, dtvnews.org. I learned a professional set of skills on top of experience gained from my previous work during my junior year as sports director.
In addition to becoming the leader of the newsroom I was able to produce a documentary with my staff, "Undrinkable: The Flint Water Emergency". The film drew much attention as it gained 100,000+ views on YouTube and statewide recognition for its educational content and impact within the community.
We also produced a sequel, "Undrinkable: The Crisis Continues", to explore the continuation of the Flint water timeline and to go in-depth on many questions being asked about the situation.
The many, many things I learned and the established skills I sharpened throughout the production of both of these projects were:
leadership, investigative journalism, data-based journalism, film production, film editing, motion design/graphics, graphic design, web design, social media, social media analytics, advertising, and so much more.
I also was able to build our website through Wordpress and HTML, with advisement from my station manager.
